Tinnitus Relief and Supplements: Which Ones Are Worthwhile?

Did your doctor ever tell you about special tinnitus supplements? If he’s at all like my doctor, probably not!

It’s fairly rare that health care providers talk to tinnitus patients about ways to control their symptoms by taking supplements. If you’ve got a really great specialist, then I’m sure you’ve had this conversation, but for everyone else here’s the lowdown on supplements (and ingredients) that can be great for controlling that damn ringing…

Note: Not everything is going to work for everyone! Like always, I recommend keeping a diary of your tinnitus symptoms and tracking how your symptoms change from day to day. After maybe 3 – 6 weeks of taking tinnitus supplements, you should be able to refine your list to things that really work for you. Start with just one supplement at a time so you can evaluate their effectiveness individually.

*Ginkgo Bilboa: Supplements made from these plants are widely available and used to treat many different conditions. Taking them is also often very helpful for reliving tinnitus, but like other supplements, expect it to take 3 to 6 weeks before you see any results. WARNING!: ginkgo bilboa seeds are used in some forms of Chinese cooking and actually produce serious allergies in many people. The seeds are different from the supplements, so you shouldn’t have to worry too much.

*Rosemary: You can get theses supplements in tea form, although most people have more success with oral supplements. It’s a great substance for improving circulation, and if you’ve read our other articles, then you know just how important it is to have great circulation in your ears.

*Wild Hyssop: This neat substance can help reduce pain and inflammation. Think of it as ibuprofen for your tinnitus headaches, but without the long term side effects.

*Salicylic Acid: If your tinnitus causes vertigo, deafness or dizziness, then try this supplement. This one may also be really useful if your tinnitus began after taking certain medications or is linked to Meniere ‘s disease.

*Ferrum Phosphoricum: If you’ve read our free report, then you know how important it is to have a strong immune system when you have tinnitus. This supplement helps your tissue absorb iron, which strengthens your immune system and can also help prevent tinnitus-based headaches.

*Magnesium Phosphate: Another natural painkiller. If you have frequent headaches, then try this one first. It also helps your nerves, which is pretty important for controlling tinnitus.

*Avena Sativa: This supplement can help control your cholesterol levels, which leads to better circulation, which leads to decreased tinnitus symptoms.

Before you run out and spend too much money on supplements, pick only one or two of these that you think would best help your condition. If you can test them individually, that would be best, but remember that it’s going to take a few weeks (maybe up to a month or two) before you start seeing results. Stay optimistic and don’t get discouraged by a lack of results — these tinnitus supplements have worked for thousands of people and there’s no reason they won’t work for you!
