Author Thomas Coleman has packed an impressive amount of information into Tinnitus Miracle System‘s 334 pages. As modern medicine has so far failed to find a reliable and continuously effective treatment for tinnitus, it’s no wonder that most people approach this product with skepticism.

First off, a bit of background on Mr. Coleman. He’s been researching and working on ways to cure titinnitus for more than 14 years. Unique to his approach is his holistic attitude. He believes that tinnitus treatment must look at the entire body in order to give long term results. In some senses, the depth and thoroughness of his writing may turn away some people who could really benefit from it — but as long as you realize going in that this is a holistic approach, you should be fine.

The content of the book is broken down into a few different sections. The initial chapters talk about how your hearing works and “everything you need to know about tinnitus.” While some of the sidebars are a bit technical, I’d say 95% of the information is easy to understand and accessible to the general population. No need to read this with a medical dictionary at your side!

While the hearing and tinnitus information is interesting, most people purchase this eBook because they want to stop their tinnitus (duh!) and the 3rd chapter is where things kick into high gear. Here, Mr. Coleman shows you how to diagnose the type and severity of your tinnitus. If you’ve seen a few doctors for your condition, you likely have an idea of what to expect. I had spoken with my doctor several times about my tinnitus and wish I had brought the checklist in this book with me! While some of the information is aimed at people who wish to talk about tinnitus with a medical professional, many of the diagnostic tests can be done at home.

Chapter 4 follows with information on tinnitus and our emotions. Here we learn about how tinnitus causes anxiety and can play with your emotions. Mr. Coleman also touches on the type of mindset you need in order to have success with a tinnitus treatment program.

After 130+ pages of great info, the real meat of the Tinnitus Miracle starts. Mr. Coleman has divided his treatment plan into a 5-pronged approach. Steps range from dietary changes and supplements to immune system boosting and tinnitus retraining. What surprises me most about this part of the eBook is that the depth of information. Some other tinnitus courses simply tell you to take some vitamin C pills and your ear ringing will go away: here the information is more concrete in what to take and expect, but can often be  overwhelming.

The other treatment plans include detox and hypnotherapy, two treatments that I was familiar with, but had no idea could be applied to tinnitus. The information here alone is worth the price of admission.

The real question is: does the Tinnitus Miracle system work? After working with a few different approaches, I was able to find a few things that calmed my tinnitus immensely at night. It took me a good 6 weeks work, but the results are noticeable and so far, here to stay. I do admit that I could have followed the program a bit closer, but so far I’ve gotten better results than my doctor’s treatments and at about the price of one office copay!

So here’s the deal: this book is an incredible resource for people with tinnitus. It does work, but it requires you to put some effort in — it’s not a “magic pill.” If you’re serious about getting some silence in your life and have about 2 hours a week to dedicate to learning and applying these techniques then you should be fine. In my own experience though, rereading the book a few times to let the information really sink in is a huge help. Results can come slowly, so stick with it for at least 1 month before you decide whether or not it’s working.

Tinnitus Miracle Review in Brief:

What is it? Tinnitus Miracle is a 334 page eBook. eBooks are downloadable PDF files that can be read on both PC and Mac computers with the free application Adobe Reader (NOTE to Mac users! I had to use Adobe, it wouldn’t display correctly in Preview for some reason). You could probably put it on a Kindle or your iPad, but I didn’t test that.

Who’s it for? Anyone who’s frustrated with traditional tinnitus treatments and about to go insane from those constant hssssssss sounds should check this eBook out. At the very least, you’ll probably learn more about your condition than your doctor ever told you. That said, this book would also be an interesting read for anyone who’s into holistic treatments and natural cures. Med students might enjoy reading it, too.

What’s the problem? There’s about 130 pages of background info on hearing and tinnitus before Mr. Coleman goes into his 5-step process. People may be tempted to skip over this part (as I did at first) and look at the cures, but the early chapters help you understand your tinnitus and get in the proper mindset for holistic treatment.

Any extra info? The book comes with a host of free bonus eBooks. The only one I read was about sleeping better, but the information was solid and it’s a nice bonus for people like me who are (or WERE in my case icon wink Tinnitus Miracle Review ) kept awake by tinnitus. I also didn’t test the one-on-one sessions, but did have some correspondence with Mr. Coleman. He WILL answer your emails. Also, the book has a 60-day (I think) money-back guarantee if you’re not happy with it. A solid buy for about the same price as a 1-hour session with a specialist.
